Kangana Ranaut's Twitter account has been suspended permanently

 According to the so called trying to be politician Kangana, Modi should tame West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee using his ‘viraat roop’ from the ‘early 2000s’.

 

Twitter suspended actor Kangana Ranaut's account permanently on Tuesday.

In a tweet, the actor alleged that West Bengal's Bharatiya Janata Party leadership wastargeting its supporters after the election results were announced. She urged PM Modi to use his “virat roop” or destructive side from the “early 2000s”

to “tame” Chief Minister Banerjee. She was referring to the Gujarat riots in 2002.

In response to her tweet, social media users urged Twitter to take action.

The Twitter spokesperson said Ranaut had broken their anti-hate policy and had engaged in abusive and disrespectful behavior, NDTV reported. 

”We have been clear that we will take strong enforcement action against excessive behavior that could lead to offline harm,” said the spokesperson. Twitter rules are applied judiciously and fairly to everyone, the spokesperson said. 

As provided in our abuse policy, “You may not engage in targeted harassment of someone, or incite others to do so,” said the social media platform. “We view abusive behavior as an attempt to harass, intimidate, or silence someone else’s voice.”

In response, Ranaut released a statement denouncing the social platform's action.

“Twitter has only proved my point they are Americans and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person, they want to tell you what to think, speak or do,” she said. “I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice including my own art in the form of cinema. But my heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved, and censored for thousands of years, and still, there is no end to the suffering.”

In addition to this, she posted a video on Instagram of herself calling the silence on West Bengal violence as “conspiracy against India” by “liberal” international media.
